The media industry thrives on the exchange of knowledge: a suitable skillset is required to turn innovative ideas into groundbreaking projects. We present four cases that bring more know-how to the Bavarian industry and have received the Future Skills funding from Start Into Media for this.

Günter Holland: Mental-Health-Training

First aid for the sould: The Günter Holland Journalistenschule  from Augsburger Allgemeine with its mental health training program is a preventative measure to ensure that the mental health of young journalists does not fall by the wayside. After all, resilience is a tool that can be acquired and is becoming increasingly important in times of hate speech and crises – not only for one's own health, but also for empathetic interaction with others.

stabil e.V. – About me

Social circumstances have no influence on talent, but unfortunately they often do on career prospects. The project from the non-profit organisation for the promotion of young talent in the media sector makes it easier for socially disadvantaged young people to enter the world of media with workshops. Young participants meet with experienced industry guests to get a taste of topics such as social media, copywriting, camera acting and production together with professionals.
